About CSI
The Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI), a voluntary, academic, nonprofit and non-governmental organization, a family of over 10,000 members, is registered and established in accordance with the laws of China. CSI has grown out of the Chinese Committee for Immunology, founded in 1984, and joined the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) as a member society in the same year. In 1988 CSI got its license and was affiliated with the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). In 1992, CSI became a founder member of the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania (FIMSA) and started to play an active role in the regional academic organization. Since 2016, the FIMSA office has been sharing with CSI office in Beijing, which is led by FIMSA Secretary General.

Cellular & Molecular Immunology is a monthly journal from the Chinese Society for Immunology and the University of Science and Technology of China. Covering both basic immunology research and clinical applications, CMI provides the latest information and advancements in our understanding of the immunological response of the host, both in vitro and in vivo.

Summary of the 2024 CSI Annual Meeting (the 16th CSI Congress of Immunology)
From October 24-27, 2024, the "16th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI)" was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, hosted by the Chinese Society for Immunology, co-organized by the Zhejiang Society of Immunology and the Immunology Research Institute of Zhejiang University. The congress set new records in terms of academic level, number of abstract submissions, and attendance scale. During the congress, the "9th CSI General Assembly" was held, and the new board of CSI council was elected.20

Summary of Summer School 2024 of CSI
From July 13 to 22, 2024, the "11th Summer School of the Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI)," hosted by the CSI, supported by the Inner Mongolia Association for Science and Technology, and co-organized by the Inner Mongolia Society for Immunology and the Inner Mongolia Medical University, was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.18

Summary of the 5th CSI Advanced Course of Cancer Immunotherapy
Hosted by Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI) and organized by Committee for Tumor Immunology & Biotherapy of Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI), the 5th CSI Advanced Course of Cancer Immunotherapy was held during April 12-14 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Over 400 trainees attended the meeting.09

Summary of the 8th Sino-German Joint Symposium on Immunology
Organized by Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI) and German Society for Immunology (DGfI), the 8th Sino-German Joint Symposium on Immunology was held in Xiamen, China during March 18-22, 2024. In the opening ceremony, Prof. Hansjörg Schild, Vice President of DGfI, and Prof. Xuetao Cao, the initiator of the symposium, gave remarks respectively. Both sides looked back the history of this serial symposium, which began in 2010, and spoke highly of the successes and outcomes of the bilateral exchanges and communications for the last 14 years between two societies. The purpose of cooperation between Chinese and German immunologists is always, and especially now, to face the common threats from diseases and environments and to promote the welfare of human beings in general.08
