About Meeting

Organized by Nankai University, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Metabolism and Nature Immunology

Mitochondria are the central and dynamic hub for cellular metabolism that govern both innate and adaptive immunity. Recent studies have established that the immune system is tightly coupled to mitochondrial biogenesis, dynamics and quality control, which can be exploited for therapeutic gain. To date, the intertwining relationship between mitochondria and immunity has become an active area of research. Therefore, we would like to invite leading scientists in these fields to discuss the interplay between mitochondria and immunity, which will advance our understanding of the crosstalk between mitochondria and immunity, and foster future collaborations.

ABSTRACTS

General information
The Scientific Committee will select abstracts from conference registrants for poster presentations or short oral talks. The committee is composed of Nature journals editors and scientists from the conference's partner or sponsor organizations.
Please note: In order to be accepted to present you must also be registered for the conference.
For visa applicants: If you need an accepted abstract in order to apply for a visa, the Scientific Committee can review your abstract in advance. First, submit your abstract using the portal, and then send an email to iris.liu@nature.com, stating that you have completed the submission process and need your abstract reviewed for visa purposes.

Virtual Presentations
All abstract presentations in a virtual format will be held through the events' online platform.
Posters will be pre-uploaded into the virtual poster hall and presented live or through a pre-recorded video.
Short-talks will take place during the allocated times on the agenda.
